Federación Iberoamericana de Bolsas creates competition for projects with cryptocurrencies

The Ibero-American Federation of Stock Exchanges is calling for a competition of projects related to blockchain and cryptocurrencies, with prizes ranging from USD 1,500 to USD 5,000 and has the support of the Argentine Stock Market

The FIAB High Tech 2019 competition will be held in the City of Rosario, Argentina and invites fintech companies (financial technology companies) to present their projects in the area of cryptocurrencies and blockchain, before next July 18 for their prior evaluation by the jury.

A second revision will be in charge of international judges, who will have the responsibility to choose the three finalist projects that will later go to the final that will take place in the City of Rosario in Argentina.

The finalists will compete in the final round the first, second and third place, whose prizes will correspond to 5,000, 3,000 and 1,500 dollars depending on the place obtained.

The projects associated with blockchain and cryptocurrencies should respond to asset tokenization, solutions that generate digital and transactional tokens in a blockchain, which represent traditional financial assets (stocks, securities, derivatives, and smart contracts, said the Ibero-American Federation of Exchanges.

Among the other competing themes, there is the negotiation of financial assets, which includes: solutions for buying and / or selling foreign currencies for individuals and companies, solutions for the purchase and sale of shares, debt and derivatives. and other technological solutions to facilitate or execute transactions of other asset classes.

In the area of financial management, people and assets, projects must contemplate online platforms that contrast different financial products and their characteristics and digital asset management, or aimed at the supply and provision of asset management services.

The competition is supported by other financial associations such as the Rosario Stock Exchange, ROFEX and the Argentine Securities Market, who, through their different social networks, have also made the call to the event.
