Edge expands its wallet and adds support for Tether, Digibyte, Vertcoin and Bitcoin Gold.
The Edge cryptocurrency wallet has announced that it has added support for ERC20 Tether, Digibyte, Vertcoin and Bitcoin Gold with the release of its latest version.
In June, Edge announced that it became the first multi-active wallet provider to add support for Monero (XMR) and Ripple (XRP).
“You can now store, send and receive all the previous cryptocurrencies within Edge Wallet. With the addition of Tether, users can now trade between a stable currency linked to the US dollar and other cryptocurrencies by using the integrated ShapeShift exchange functionality. All without leaving Edge or having to create an account with an exchange or provide personal information,” Edge said in a blog post.
With the latest version, Edge has also added support for the direct purchase of Litecoin using a credit or debit card through its Simplex partner. Users could now buy Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Litecoin (LTC) with a debit or credit card.
In addition, Edge has added a number of new features to the latest version including sign-in screens for new accounts, spending limits for transaction PINs, toggle to display the fiduciary balances of the portfolios on the List of wallets screen, ability to see the transaction / event history of Simplex transactions, as well as a series of solutions, among other things.
The company said that its v1.3.0 is now available in App Store and Play Store.
