Huobi Cryptocurrency Exchange expands to Brazilian soil.
The third largest cryptocurrency exchange, Huobi, plans to open an office in the Brazilian city of São Paulo.
The Huobi exchange management is looking for staff for the new unit. In addition, the publication reports that representatives of Huobi were seen during the talks “with well-known personalities of the Brazilian market”. In addition, as part of the work on the next expansion of activities, the commercial platform already uses the workspace of the famous WeWork coworking network.
Among other things, the Singapore-based exchange published on LinkedIn a request that Huobi needed a senior compliance officer who would oversee the company’s operations, detect violations and illegal activities. Another announcement says that Huobi is looking for a candidate for the position of digital marketing manager.
A representative of the Huobi Group confirmed the company’s intention to enter the Brazilian market, but refused to reveal more details.
The effort marks another step in Huobi’s plans for global expansion. The exchange has changed its commercial focus abroad, including the relocation of its headquarters in Singapore.
The company has also begun to expand into Canada, since it sees it “emerging as a blockchain leader nation”.
