SAP Launches Blockchain Co-Innovation Initiative.
The company of enterprise application software SAP has announced the names of the initial companies involved in its blockchain co-innovation initiative.
The nine participating companies include Capgemini, Deloitte, GrainCorp, HCL Technologies, HERE Technologies, Moog Inc., Natura Cosmetics SA, NetApp and PeerNova. All these companies andstan collaborating with SAP to validate use cases b lockchain and business models for management solutions lifecycle SAP products and assets.
The innovation program SAP Co-Innovation Block Block SAP offers customers and partners the opportunity to explore SAP applications, including the use of blockchain since the beginning of the product to manufacturing and logistics. SAP said it is exploring digital supply chain scenarios where different vendors present deals directly to blockchain to improve the effectiveness of their enterprise networks.
Dr. Juergen Mueller, director of innovation at SAP, said:

SAP plans to turn the digital accounting system into an integrated part of Internet of Things (IoT), manufacturing and digital supply chain solutions using SAP’s SAP Cloudplate platform service.
Enrollments for SAP’s SAP Blockchain Early Access Program are now open and will offer customers and partners access to standard SAP products which have been enhanced with blockchain functionality. They will have the opportunity to learn how SAP capabilities enable Leonardo Blockchain access the same information without central control and management.
Blockchain in its early access program SAP focuses on industries such as automotive, aerospace and defense, discrete manufacturing and utilities, with additional participation throughout the supply chain and business networks including logistics network provider. The Early Access Program is open for customers and partners to register until the beginning of the first quarter of 2018.
