Extradited to US two Israelis for crimes related to Bitcoin.

On July 22, 2015 were arrested by the Israeli government two hackers, accused of perpetrating one of the largest cyber crime in history against more than 80 million bank accounts, money laundering, manipulation of stock prices and criminal operations related to Bitcoin virtual currency.

The Federal Office for the Southern District of New York announced that Gery Shalon and Ziv Orenstein have been extradited from Israel, both appeared before the court in Manhattan and were charged with securities fraud and hacking, however they pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Gery Shalon is accused of being the owner of Coin.Com a website that was paid for the exchange and through a series of cyber attacks on companies, including Wall Street bank JP Morgan, stealing personal data of tens of customer accounts of such entity.

The Israeli press must, cybercriminals have stolen the data from these accounts and would have used to buy shares through a front company, by artificially raising the stock exchange quotations of securities acquired by the suspects and reselling them for a much higher price , achieving the benefits operation million.
